Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Tokyo, Japan

The Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) located within the premises of the Embassy of India in Tokyo is a Cultural Centre of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations of India.

The Centre promotes bilateral cultural linkages between India and Japan by organizing cultural programmes, cultural seminars, workshops and trainings engaging Indian-based Gurus professionals and trainers for Yoga, Hindi & Bengali, Indian Classical Music such as Tabla and Indian Dances Odissi & Bharatanatyam, folk dance (Sambalpuri) and contemporary dances (Bollywood dance). It also arranges concerts, art exhibitions, dance exhibitions, film screenings, seminars and workshops on a regular basis.

The centre’s library, has a collection of over 8,000 books dating back to the 1950s.

The facilities at the Centre includes an Auditorium, a fully equipped Concert hall that has 180 seating capacity.
