Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Hanoi, Vietnam

The Cultural Centre of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations of India was established in September 2016 Hanoi The centre was inaugurated on 20th April 2017 by MoS for External Affairs, Gen. V.K. Singh and the Deputy/Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien. The cultural centre was renamed by MEA as Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center (SVCC) in August 2018, to mark the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s famous Chicago speech in 1893.

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Georgetown, Guyana

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC) is the Indian Cultural Centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in Georgetown. It is the oldest among all the cultural centre’s established by ICCR. The Centre was established in 1972 with the aim of strengthening cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and Guyana and their people. The Centre is conducting regular classes in Yoga, instrumental (Harmonium, Tabla & Dholak), Vocal, and Dance (Kathak).

Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre For Indian Culture, Tashkent, Uzbekistan

The Indian Cultural Centre in Uzbekistan was established in 1995 and renamed as the Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture (LBSCIC) in March 2005. The Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture organizes major cultural programmes in Tashkent during Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations of India. As part of our outreach activities, the Centre regularly organizes visits of its Kathak Dance and Yoga Students to different provinces (viloyats) to organize joint cultural programmes. The Centre also organizes regular Dance (Kathak) Yoga and Tabla classes in its premises.

The Nehru Centre, London, United Kingdom

The Nehru Centre at 8, South Audley Street, London, W1K 1HF is the cultural centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

The Centre promotes bilateral cultural/academic linkages between India and UK The Centre is the cultural outreach of The High Commission of India in UK. It is among the most active of India’s cultural centres abroad and has, over the years, emerged as a premier institution engaged in India’s cultural interface with U.K.

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Bangkok, Thailand

The Indian Cultural Center in Bangkok was formally inaugurated in September 2009 by Dr. Karan Singh, President of the ICCR, and Mr. Teera Salukpetch, the Minister for Culture in the Royal Thai Government. The Center, located on the same street as the Embassy of India, is in the city Centrum, in Prasarnmitr, on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok.

The Center has a library and a multi-purpose hall, exhibition facilities and an auditorium for screening of films, etc.

Swami Vivekananda Culture Centre, Paramaribo, Suriname

The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre at Paramaribo is oldest Indian Cultural Centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in South America. It was established in 1978, just two years after India established its bilateral relations with Suriname in 1976. The Centre is based in a country where there is a large concentration of people of Indian Origin as such the activities of the centre are quite popular and much in demand.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture (IGCIC) at Kuala Lumpur is the Cultural Centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). It was formally inaugurated on 10th February 2010 by His Excellency Dr. Karan Singh, then Hon’ble President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, along with Datuk Dr. S. Subramaniam, Minister of Human Resources, and Malaysia. The Indian Cultural Centre has now renamed as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre (NSCBICC).

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Colombo, Sri Lanka

The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Colombo, is an Indian Cultural Centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). It was established in 1998 under the aegis of High Commission of India with the aim of building bridges of cultural exchange, to revive and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and Sri Lanka. It seeks to promote India-Sri Lanka cultural co-operation by building on cultural commonalities, people to people contact and creating an awareness of Indian culture in all facets.

The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) at Bali, Indonesia, is a Cultural Centre of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations of India. It was renamed to Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre. The Centre promotes bilateral cultural linkages between India and Indonesia by organizing cultural programmes, cultural seminars, workshops and trainings engaging India based Gurus professionals and trainers for Yoga, Indian Classical Dances.

Indian Cultural Centre, Male, Maldives

The Indian Cultural Centre in Male is a Cultural Centre of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) of India. It was formally inaugurated on 28th July’ 2011. Since its inception, the Centre has won the hearts of many Maldivians, by delivering the substance in a unique style. The Cultural Centre is undertaking all efforts to sustain the tempo of its regular activities for the benefit of Maldivians.

The Tagore Centre, Berlin, Germany

The Tagore Centre, a hub for Indian culture in the heart of Berlin, has completed its 20 years of journey in showcasing the cultural heritage of India in Germany. Named after Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, the Centre is committed to propound his task of inspiring Germany through invaluable treasures of Indian culture.

The Centre was inaugurated by Prime Minister of India, Shri P.V. Narasimha Rao on February 5, 1994, with a mandate to foster and strengthen cultural relations between India and Germany.

Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture, Port Louis, Mauritius

The Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture (IGCIC) at Phoenix is Cultural Centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). It is also the Cultural Wing of the High Commission of India in Mauritius. The Centre was established in 1987 in Quatre Bornes and has now been shifted at Phoenix. The IGCIC at Phoenix was inaugurated on March 11, 2000 by Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India and Dr Navin Chandra Ramgoolam, the Prime Minister of Mauritius.

Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre, Jakarta, Indonesia

Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre (JNICC) Jakarta is an Indian Cultural Centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). It was established in 1989. It is the largest ICC in the South East Asia Religion. Since then, it is active in creating a cultural confluence between India and Indonesia. Through its outreach, collaborative events, presentations and in house training activities of Yoga, Dance and Music, JNICC thrives to bring creative minds and extraordinary talents of two culturally awakened nations together.

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Kabul, Afghanistan

The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Kabul is a Cultural Centre of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) of India. It was inaugurated in September 2007 by the Afghan Minister of Culture and Information, Mr. Abdul Karim Khurram and, Mr. Sayed Shahid, then Vice-President of ICCR. The Centre is located in the Embassy premises.

The Centre promotes bilateral cultural linkages between India and Bangladesh by organizing cultural programmes, cultural seminars, workshops and trainings engaging India based Gurus professionals and trainers for Yoga, Indian Classical Music.

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Suva, Fiji

India and Republic of Fiji share historical and cultural linkages. On 14 May 1879, "Leonidas", the ship with the first indentured workers from India, reached the shores of Fiji. Their numbers subsequently increased with the arrival of more ships from India. The descendants of these workers, now in their fifth generation, form nearly 38% of the population and are part of the economic, political and social fabric of the country. They have maintained their traditional Indian cultural links.

The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre at Sao Paulo, Brazil is a Cultural Centre of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations of India established on 25th May 2011. The Centre promotes bilateral cultural linkages between India and Brazil by organizing cultural programmes, cultural seminars, workshops and trainings engaging India based Gurus professionals and trainers for Yoga, Hindi & Sanskrit, Hindustani Classical Vocal Music and Indian Dances viz; Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Odissi. It places special emphasis on working with local cultural organizations promoting Indian culture.

Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, Dhaka, Bangladesh

The Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) at Dhanmondi, Dhaka in Bangladesh, is a Cultural Centre of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations of India. It was formally inaugurated on March 11, 2010 by His Excellency Dr. Karan Singh, then Hon’ble President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, along with His Excellency Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, then Hon’ble Minister for Information and Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh.
